What a PROUD family oriented group they are at that.

So I here the ladies in the crowd talking about some LION and how BIG he was.

So when I saw this Lion with the Sons of Italy I just had to take a photo to share with the world.

I would send it to the newspaper.

But we both know they won't print it. :-)

My Three Favorite Adult Beverages are:

(Heavy on the Crème de cassis is my personal preference)

V's with Sauce

Today I went to have a "V's with Sauce" which is V8, Vodka, Worcestershire Sauce, Salt and Pepper.

So I get everything together and bang. The Vodka bottle was empty. Those damn loose metal caps!!

So here are all these fixin's in the glass. Do I drink it virgin?

Nope..... The Barcardi bottle is almost full.

So we substitute the vodka with Bacardi!!

Brilliant!!
Just Brilliant!!

I can't find a mix of the new drink in the on line websites of adult beverages.
So I've dubbed this new drink "The V9".
You got your V8 with those eight fabulous vitamins.
Toss in a little of good ole vitamin B (as in Bacardi)
and that makes nine vitamins.

Beta blog and the Oven Test.

Well we got the new stove/oven installed. (YEA!!!!!)

I've been working on the kitchen doing the floor and stuff like that.

So Cin has a cookie swap to go to Sunday 12/10/2006.

So we've been testing the oven out.

I'm also testing this upgrade to the new GMAIL Beta version of BLOGGER.

Here are some of the goodies she has COOKED up. :-)

Do you follow Jesus?

There are those who would say that I don't.

After all I am a Marine and have been called a "Devil Dog".

But I have proof that I have and am following Jesus.

I also think he lives in Delaware and NOT the middle east.

You see my family set forth toe visit a church and other locations involved in my daughters wedding plans.

In the process we found Jesus and I have proof.















Oh yea... we figure he lives in Delaware which to me is proof he thinks taxes are evil and should be shunned.















However his vechicle registration appears to be legal and he was obeying the traffic laws.

So he does pay some taxes and is not above the law.

We are one nation under God. So he has to answer to Dad too. ;-)

More Pumpkin Mugging? OR Little Angels to the RESCUE!!

The EVIL PUMPKINS out on the door step were promptly attacked by the angelic squirrels the morning after Halloween.

As you can see this was a group assault by the critters protecting the Garlit home from EVIL.

It went something like this.........

Trip to San Fran to see Devin and Amy

Late last week (2006-10-26) my wife Cindi and I took a trip to San Fran














to see Devin and Amy.














Of course we timed this so I couldn't go play at Oracle's Openworld about a block away from Devin's apartment.

Spooky time and the Replacements

Yes we had a SPOOKY Halloween at Garlit Clan homestead.














As many of you know our previous pumpkin was brutally assaulted by our friendly angelic squirrels.

We feel that they thought they were defending home of people who provide all that nice bird seed and squirrel food for them.

SO... Just in time for arrival of Halloween's tricker treaters two new pumpkins were acquired and carved.
